Water Damaged Due to Leak
The water heater had leaked for several days while the customer was out of town. She mopped up the water and purchased a residential dehumidifier, assuming it would dry. A few days later, the engineered flooring began to buckle/cup and water would squeeze through the cracks when walked upon.
Moisture readings were taken downstairs with elevated readings throughout the hallway and half bathroom.
The floors were removed and then dried for a few days. Once it was dried, it went to our reconstruction department. We replaced the floors and the customer was happy with the outcome.
